Phoebe Washburn

Phoebe Washburn has an amazing installation up at the Deustche Guggenheim entitled Regulated Fool's Milk Meadow. This work aims to create a distinct and simulataneously superfulous system. This sort of system exists all around us in varying facets of our day-to-day existence e.g. consumer markets, food, and even art. This work has surfaced a question I have asking myself for quite some time now. Is it necessary to create a distinct world or system either literally or metaphorically through one's work? Further, is that what is always already happening apriori? I would love to start a discussion please feel free to comment.
